The product is designed to monitor a nominal voltage on a separate supply and ensure it stays within the set limits. An auxiliary supply (required to power the unit) must be present for the product to function. When the monitored voltage is applied the relay will energise.

Under voltage: If the monitored voltage decreases below the set Under voltage trip level, the relay will de-energise. The voltage must increase above the trip level plus the set hysteresis setting before the relay will re-energise.

Over voltage: If the monitored voltage increases above the set Over voltage trip level, the relay will de-energise. The voltage must decrease below the trip level minus the set hysteresis setting before the relay will re-energise.
